Taylor Swift shows off her voluminousness curls as she promotes the NFL’s Play 60 campaign in New Orleans on Wednesday afternoon (September 8).

The 20-year-old country starlet teamed up with the NFL footballers Deuce McAllister, Derrick Brooks, and Eddie George and First Lady Michelle Obama to promote healthy living habits and battle the epidemic our country is faced with, childhood obesity.

Taylor addressed the crowd with a question during the day: “Did you know that if you follow play 60 and you keep moving for 60 minutes everyday that you can get an award from the president?” And you can! If you maintain an active, healthy lifestyle you can win the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award.

Taylor is also pictured performing during the 2010 NFL Opening Kickoff Presented by EA SPORTS in Jackson Square on Thursday night (September 9).

EW interview: Are you a romantic? I think that whatever I go through in life will be directly reflected in my music. If I have a bunch of different experiences with a bunch of different people and some of them are good and some of them are bad and some of them are confusing, you have an album like this.

You never know what I’m going to write about in the future, but for me, I have a hard time putting together an album that’s just a few emotions. I like to feel like I’ve covered every emotion that I’ve felt in the last two years.

Has your sound changed for this album? As far as my sound changing, I like to address each song as its own thing, and it gets to sort of figure out. In my head, when I write the song, I hear the production. I don’t like to make the album..

..sound all the same, production-wise. We did some things I was really excited about. We used an entire string session. We went out and had a string session in LA at Capitol Studios, and we did some really, really interesting things on some tracks that I’m really excited about, things we haven’t done production-wise. I’m just excited for people to hear the whole record, to be honest with you

'Today Was a Fairytale' debut at No. 2. Mariah Carey is the only other female with multiple top five debuts in a single year, opening at No. 1 with both 'Fantasy' and 'One Sweet Day,' with Boyz II Men, in 1995. 'Mine' opened at No. 1 on Digital Songs with 297,000 downloads in a partial sales week.

Taylor Swift's upcoming single 'Mine' is an uptempo, boy/ girl song,
 sort of like 'Love Story' but a much more realistic look at a relationship. It shows Taylor’s growth and maturity
 over the 2 years since she released Fearless, but maintains Taylor’s ability to tell a story with an instantly memorable hook.

In the song, Taylor is a girl who always avoided love and then finds herself in a great relationship. Here’s a line from the chorus: You made a rebel of a careless man’s careful daughter / You are the best thing that’s ever been mine.
